Mobile Grooming
What is mobile grooming?
It is professional grooming self-contained in a custom van that arrives at your door to take care of your pup’s grooming needs. Mobile dog grooming is preferred by most of today’s busy pet owners. The convenience for you and the exclusive attention for your pet make it desirable to use our mobile dog grooming service. The inverter furnishes electricity to the dryer, table, clippers, A/C, vacuum, lights and more. A hot water heater ensures the perfect bath temperature and a therapeutic bathing system cleans and soothes your pet.
Do you need to use my electricity or hose?
Nope! Our van is fully equipped with an inverter for electricity and a 65 gallon fresh water reservoir. A separate 65 gallon tank holds our dirty (but entirely biodegradable) soapy water, which we empty back at our office.
But isn’t mobile grooming expensive?
You will pay more for mobile grooming. But the benefits far outweigh the additional cost.
Remember
All telephone/text/email quotes are estimates and can only be confirmed after initial examination of your dog’s condition and the time allotment required to complete the services. Prices will vary depending on size, condition of coat, temperament of dog, and haircut.

Mobile Grooming FAQ
Q: Why does mobile grooming cost more than shop grooming?
A: Mobile grooming offers so many advantages to you and your pup, but it does cost a bit more than getting your dog groomed in a traditional shop. Since mobile grooming offers personalized, one-on-one service, we can only work on one dog at a time and service a limited number of dogs in one day. Mobile grooming is not a high-volume business, rather it is a premium service designed to reduce the stress of grooming on your dog and to be a convenience and time-saver for you. Please refer to our Why Mobile page to see just a few of the many benefits of mobile grooming.
Q: Why can’t you give me an exact price when I first contact you for an appointment?
A: If we have not yet met your dog, we will often give you a price range that we anticipate charging for the service you request. Once we arrive at your appointment, we can see things like the condition and length of your dog’s coat and the dog’s behavior to see if there are any factors that may make the grooming appointment take a bit longer than usual, and therefore cost a bit more.
Q: Can I be in the truck with you when you groom my dog?
A: In our experience, this is usually not a good idea. You are your dog’s favorite person, so when you are present during grooming, your dog will be focused on you and not on sitting still for or cooperating with the service. There may be some occasions where the dog’s owner will be called upon to help calm or hold the dog during certain parts of the service, but generally the grooming should be a one-on-one experience between the dog and the groomer.
Q: How long will the groom take?
A: This can really vary, but generally a bath service will take 45-120minutes depending on the breed (think of the difference between bathing and drying a Chihuahua and a Golden Retriever!) and a haircut service will take between 80-120 minutes, again depending on the type of dog. Though we work efficiently, we do not rush.
Q: Do you need to hook-up to my electricity or water?
A: Nope! Our truck is fully self-contained with its own power and warm water supply. We do carry an extension cord as a back-up for the power, but should not need to use it. Our power is supplied by batteries, so we do not use a loud generator.
